Diptych (Assignment III)

For this assignment, the point was to use color assimilation and create a design that holds all four colors and allows the two similar ones to successfully look identical. The design had to be asymmetrical

This was my original design:
Which I then re-rendered to have a more successful asymmetrical design

This is the final product below, lit with white, blue, white and pink, and green and orange bulbs:

Piranesi Project (Assignment II)

For my second assignment, we had to take a Piranesi work and crop and mirror it. This was my image that I edited

I then did a graphite transfer onto bristol paper and created my own design
I also had to create 4 studies using tertiary colors, none being the same

Then I incorporated each color from my studies into my rendering
The two sides of the drawing had to represent atmospheric and abstract design

Color Wheel, Assignment I

This is my first assignment for Design II, a color wheel
The plan was to create a wheel with color relationships throughout, essentially having each ring have the same value.
Overall, I only had to go back and remix paint for the violets because they were darker than the rest. I also had the blue-violet isolating the violet, causing it too look brighter and setting off the whole wheel.
